Ding Xuexiang: Willing to Enhance Resilience of Energy Industry Supply Chains with Russia to Promote Energy Cooperation Development

Chinese State Council Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang co-chaired the China-Russia Energy Cooperation Committee meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak in Beijing. Ding stated that China is willing to continuously enhance the resilience of energy industry supply chains with Russia, promote high-quality development of energy cooperation, and achieve more practical results in energy cooperation.

Ding Xuexiang put forward three suggestions, including consolidating energy trade and mutually beneficial cooperation, promoting the construction and stable operation of oil and gas projects, and constructing nuclear energy projects to high standards and quality; deeply advancing cooperation in renewable energy, hydrogen energy, energy storage, smart energy, carbon markets, etc.; strengthening global energy governance, practicing genuine multilateralism, and making greater contributions to promoting the establishment of global clean energy partnerships.

Novak expressed that Russia is willing to deepen energy cooperation with China in all aspects, enhance multilateral collaboration, and jointly uphold the stability of the global energy market and supply chain.
